If you’re like most people, there are three things that may be keeping you from getting rid of unwanted tats: Price, Pace, and Pain.

At Laser Focus, we’re very upfront about pricing, which starts with a free initial consultation. During the consultation, we’ll assess your tattoo and give you a guaranteed price for full removal. Because of our advanced technology and unique pricing structure, our clients find that tattoo removal with LaserFocus is a lot more affordable than they expected.

Most laser removal practices price treatment by the size of the tattoo, either using square inches as the criteria or relative examples (i.e. the size of a business card, a cell phone, etc.). So, if you have a tattoo that is 2” X 3.5″ (that’s business card size) most locations would give you their seven-square-inch price, or their business card price. But, if your tattoo is a simple outline rather than solid ink, then you are probably paying more than you should.

At Laser Focus, however, we’ve designed a simpler pricing structure that we believe is more fair and equitable to our clients, which starts with your initial consultation.

There are a number of factors that go into determining how many treatments it will take to remove a tattoo. These include:

•  Age of patient
•  Age of tattoo
•  Location of tattoo
•  Quality of the ink
•  Colors of ink
•  If your tattoo was placed over an existing tattoo
•  If you have scars from the tattoo process
•  If you smoke
•  Condition of your lymphatic system
•  And others

During your initial consultation, we will take all these factors into consideration in order to give you an accurate price for your removal.

Better Technology = Fewer Treatments

One of the most important factors in the number of treatments it takes to remove a tattoo is what type of laser is used.  Because we use the most advanced technology – the PicoSure® laser – and are the only Austin practice with a 532nm hand piece, we are able to remove tattoos in fewer treatments than anywhere else.

Whether or not getting your tattoo removed is going to hurt is one of the most important factors in deciding on whether or not you’ll have the procedure.

One of the unfortunate things about tattoos is that both getting them and getting them taken off can be uncomfortable. This is especially true if your tattoo is removed using the older Q-Switched technology.

However, gigantic strides have been made in this area when PicoSure® was designed, so you’ll find that while there is still some discomfort, tattoo removal with the PicoSure® laser is much less painful than before.  Remember, better technology = fewer treatments = less discomfort.
